We celebrate “HINA-MATSURI” on 3rd March for girls to desire happier marriage displaying “HINA” ancient Kimono dolls. The executive producer who has produced TV program “Asa ga kita” (Morning has come, the heroine named Asa has come.) told the device to get popular. The theme is “husband and wife” ”sisters” ”spirit of servant” He emphasized to change the weak points into strong points by some devices. One of them was to show the beautiful KIMONO which has given genetic happiness to Japanese people. Thank you so much for that, same as my desire ! If he had met my works before, my KIMONO DRESS would have given happier feeling to the audience.
My friend said that I resembled to Ms.Hirooka Asako who was the model of drama on a KIMONO portrait. I hope the common point is that we act whatever we want. What a great woman with strong spirit she was on her western style portrait ! I put a remade pink jacket from KIMONO for spring when I visited her exhibition.
