I have many questions how is the remade design from KIMONO.

As KIMONO fabric has limited width and length, and remade dress from KIMONO has more limitation. It looks like a jigsaw puzzle. I like this designing because of active brain. When I see a KIMONO, my design can cross my mind suddenly. If the width and/or length is lack, I can sew together for the width and/or put other fabric easily. The more important thing is hand-feeling and motif. And then, making pattern, fitting on other fabric, and sewing after marking.

Pure black KIMONO fabric for funeral is remade to an “ensemble” (jacket and dress). It is very worthy. But this customer requested to remake to a simple long dress. This process introduces by some photos here. This dress became reversible, one side was sold black and other side had SHIBORI motif on pale green ground with bolero. She can wear it on several occasions.

For example, it will be introduced as a base dress of last coordination in my fashion show in 12th Nov. Women yearn for a pure black dress !!!
