My voice trainer, Ms. Kana Takayama held the celebrated live for CD release last week.

I lent to her a white FURISODE remake cocktail dress which is suitable for playing piano and singing together. The motif is very good at the celebration. I selected two remake cloths for myself in the dinner live and lunch live as advertising lady. The three remake cloths including these two and the blue dress on my profile page are memento of my mother. As she loved them, I was sure she was very glad to see me from the heaven and I felt in her arms. My friend’s cloth was remade a vivid color HAORI when she was young. She looked younger !

Congratulations !  Ms. Tokiko Kato who is a famous popular singer song writer was awarded Good Aging Prize in 2015.

While she was busy, she did attend and sing a song “A million of Rose”. Before the starting stage, she allowed to see me for short time. I didn’t bring any present because it was “a flash” and talked about “Remake kimono, Kimono dress”.

(How amazing ! How fearless ! How Osaka madam is! Please let me excuse my attitude to propagate the “Kimono remake”.)

As the person in charge of NIPPON CLUB in New York where my exhibition was held told me, “You look like Tokiko”because she met her one month later.

Tokiko answered only few words against my talk, “I love vivid colors as red, black and white.” Her talk was so humorous and amazing to the audience because she is very smart how she had graduated Tokyo University.

I have a dream she wears my Kimono dress in near future.

I have experienced a radio program of “Mensole MOAI”. The theme was “A bridge of Kimono Culture = Remake Kimono” and the inside story of my web site was also talked. The on air time is 8:30~9:00 in the morning on 16^th and 23^rd September (Japan time) under http://yumenotane.jp

As image is very important for designer to do everything, I requested the change of BGM and on air time. The personality MOAI was so embarrassed by this proposal. Before the program, I made the scenario but no rehearsal. The proceeding was not on the rail but finished just on time by my experience of MC. As my condition was so bad due to tonsillitis, where was my strong eyes? (No need of eye and face?)

This radio station has good future. My big kiss to their cooperation by good meeting!

I visited to the “Eco Life Garden” at the foot of Ogura mountain, which circulates favors from nature. The owner couple named “aightowa” from how should we “love” and have kept almost self-sufficiency and recycled all things since 40 years ago. This action, life style seems old way but truly foretells the future. The natural resources has been dried.

On the Kyoto Gion festival, I jointed the Obiage workshop in ITOKO which is an old famous kimono fabric company. First of all, I selected a pattern and a base color and then chose some colors of each flower motif. The instructor showed how to drop colors and I started to do by myself. I tried three-dimensional expression, but it was not so easy for beginners to use a flat brush on the small part. After the dropping colors on all motives, the base color was dyed by the instructor and sent to me within one month. Many tourists from Tokyo also enjoyed to make only one in the world. My color combination was matched to my face skin color as long stole instead of Obiage belt. The pure silk long stole is excellent finishing as my first work, as some mistakes are not conspicuous. “BRAVO!!!” I am really satisfied.

I inquire after you during summer season. I visit IKUTAMA shrine the 1st day of every month and worship all of there. As today’s weather was crazily hot and humid, my beads of sweat did not stop at all.  How can I feel cooler ? I got a hint that my brain might work when I saw something cool. I show you some glass art  works at a gallery in NY little Italy last summer.  It also gives the feeling, we must enjoy our life !!

At NY Madam Snap Exhibition on June 10th, it remains me the strong spirit as a woman when I worked as a designer in New York. One of them says “No rule ! But my rule !”  means that never mind to fashion trend but how expresses own nice fashion.  Japanese madams in the exhibition admired my clothes made from Kimono. However it was not conspicuous at all. The New York madams are much elder but incredible tough to wear colorful garment and heavy accessary. Japanese women must have stronger spirit !

After the Obiage workshop seeing the Kyoto Gion festival, we had a lunch at a Japanese French restaurant TAMAKI, reusing an old typical Kyoto house. We tasted the beautiful and delicious dishes, listening rain and jazz sounds, seeing Japanese courtyard. The atmosphere was so matured. And then, we moved to the gallery showing Kimono glass art. The ball lights were so amazing !  After dropped at some Kimono shops, finally we got a conclusion, “Kimono fabric is the best one in the world !!!”

My Kimono dresses were lent to the summer concert at the Russian consulate.The main banquet hall is large with 10M celling.The three players felt much tension than I did. They enjoyed gorgeous feeling like me ?
