“Disvoery is one of creation !”  Mr. Takahiro Shima, the director of DAS Designers Association made a speech in Ms. Chizu Jyuso’s publish memorial party.

This album of “Invitationcard” is a hommage to the fashion industry which had continuously given a lots of dreams. It is a condensed art works of creator. People in the industry knew that it was too difficult to get the invitation cards for Paris/Milano collections. But no one kept these cards. She decided that these invitation cards should be shown to the public when she found them in a paper box at home. This became one of the creation.

I agree with her decision because my work is also “digging out” of Japanese industrial art. I feel unbearable not to be shown, as keeping in closet, therefore remake to present styled clothes from the pure silk KIMONO. This is also respect to the artificial KIMONO !  My jacket remade from black HAORI-KIMONO with flower motives.

The term of real invitation cards display is postponed to April 13^th at TUTAYA book store in Umeda Osaka. The T-shirt designed by designer Unsetsu Furukawa is also now on sale. You can also buy the book at amazon from 1^st April.

There were over 100 soldiers who had fought out in the fashion trade, surrounding with congratulatory addresses and beautiful flowers.

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom earlier than as usual, my sweet blossoms on KIMONO come out to my heart beats in the atelier.

The mermaid mannequin was chatting like a human in a lobby of Jean-Paul Gaultier’s exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in New York.

I had encountered his exhibition in Nov. 2013 when I had visited New York for the meeting of the 2014 fashion show and exhibition of mine. My favorite creator J.P.Gaultier made me so exciting !!! His perfect works gave me a series of deep impression and it still leave a trailing. “Fashion makes people happy with a dream” in the golden age. It was our common understanding. And you will feel much fine like after drinking an energy drink.

One of creator’s works is the invitation card. It is very talkative tool to tell their enthusiasm.

Let me introduce a photography book, “ART SHOW” including many invitation cards of Paris・Milano・New York collection by Ms. Chizu Jyuso. I remember my active days during the famous creators did great jobs.

This festival had come from China in ancient “Heian” period. Parents celebrate this for their daughter to grow up with happiness. Recently, the decoration has become smaller but still gorgeous.

Don’t laugh at all ! This remains me “ I am woman ! ”.

I had sent a mini-size “HINA” doll to my friend after The HANSHIN Mega Earthquake.　She could get her energy again !!!

Why don‘t you dress up on body and in mind ?

This is an interested catch-copy of ABC (around beauty club) for women. We attended their party in Kobe. The 4 directors who are famous cartoonist and vocalist, president of entertainment production, bridal fashion designer, cooking instructor did special speeches for our “mind” dress-up..

◆Riyoko Ikeda, cartoonist and vocalist, entered Tokyo Music University at 47years old, and got married with 25 years younger man and now still beautiful 70 years old. She advised that you don’t loose a few chances in life to make good use of yourself.

◆Mitsuyo Ohta, president of entertainment production, said “You don’t be satisfied to have 100points, try to do best to get 120points. She is indeed aggressive and her speech has given us a great love !

• ◆Yumi Katsura, bridal fashion designer, appealed to have international standard in life. And New Yorkers have good chances to get some new friends in weekend parties. I used to live there and planed some scale parties for new relationship after I got back to Japan. But the guests were too shy to talk with new persons. It was in vain !
• ◆Fujino Makiko, cooking instructor, introduced the action of animal protection. We naturally cried during the report movie. Animals are not born for being killed disposal ! My friend told me, “I cultivate my mind to blame myself when her pets did bad things.”

How about the dress-up on body ?

There were many ladies who wore real evening dresses. Their manners became accustomed in party. Women lives are changed year by year. My friend, my VIP client and show model, put a remade long dress from black formal KIMONO with bolero from silver OBI belt. As they are reversible, she enjoyed the other side of dress in bar time. My long dress is remade from old KIMONO called “NUITIRI-OMESI” which is no more product now. Many guests were interested in our clothes remade from KIMONO.

All of directors and guests were very attractive, giving out positive power. Thank you so much for every one ! Spring has come in my mind !!!

Did you enjoy the new year day ? I am looking forward to spring season as a reaction to this cold winter.

The display of a department store shows pink color coordination on the tableware floor. My mind has already raised by the atmosphere. Recently, I am always going to tableware floor instead of apparel goods. But I am very sorry to see this place due to lack of satisfaction comparing with the display and merchandise in New York.

We can find that many arranged tableware with KIMONO motives have increased. The first photo shows a square plate with “ICHIMATU” motif. (The referring photo is KIMONO fabric with “ICHIMATU” motif.) Some small balls with family symbols and tiny flowers on KIMONO are too cute !  Table cloth looked like western motif has a Chinese phoenix. (The referring photo is OBI belt with Chinese phoenix.)

As I had often spent weekend time for home party, I had brought some Japanese tableware. I had remembered that classic motifed tableware was expectedly matched to New York life style.

Now I display a seasonal KIMONO, cover a KIMONO cloth on the table, and hang an antique OBI belt at the entrance in my home. They make me relax and better while I am busy.

“Genuine” KIMONO and OBI are much better to indescribably feel happy !!!    I am sure～～～

I show Japanese bridal KIMONO styles with some gorgeous “MARU－OBI” (Kimono Belt).

I took a part of a seminar, the manners of Japanese cuisine for which you can brush up yourself” at a famous traditional Japanese restaurant “KIKUNOI” in Kyoto. One of the reason was the thanks to the president of KIKUNOI who did lecture about “WASHOKU World Heritage” and gave me a great courage. And other was the reward to my fashion show.

The speaker of manners who was a teacher of tea ceremony courteously gave us how to be refined. We really enjoyed ourselves introductions for the importance of the only chance in our lives. I introduced my jacket, my works and actions with humor. After the joyful lunch for 3 hours, I took a walk around the restaurant before light-up show in KODAI temple. I enjoyed a Japanese sweet and shopping some Japanese apricot drinks for my home party.

Recently KIMONO rental service has been increased for Japanese as well as foreign visitors. I met across a group of American women wearing KIMONO and asked them, “How do you feel to wear KIMONO ?” They answered, “It is so complicated !” “But I am very happy to wear how beautiful clothes is ! Incredible !!! ” Their KIMONO was not pure silk but very cheap polyester 100%. The KIKUNOI president told us that the first of all was to be broad views even though it was an imitation. The next step was to concentrate what was a genuine. This remains me how to make a big business.

Also I met across a Japanese group wearing gorgeous MAIKO KIMONO. I longed for the days of my youth. The expense was very high at that time, but the present expense is one third. They were so happy to be like an actress.

The light-up show was so crowded and the information for foreign tourists were not enough. They could not understand Japanese at all. “Where is the entrance for the light-up show?” I am an obliging person to help them but Kyoto should settle these subjects before 2020 Tokyo Olympic.

I took a day off and relaxed for satisfaction the five senses in Kyoto after a long absence. This is a great reward !!!

My new collection was released at Garden City Club Osaka by KIMONO MIRAI Executive Committee in 12^th November. The 88 guests had attended to support to our aim which KIMONO fabric is brought the world peace.

This event had created a great sensation. The theme “Japanese relay” means that Japanese culture through Kimono fabric will be handed over from mother to daughter, from Japan to abroad countries. Recent Japanese people have to become aware that KIMONO fabric is magnificent traditional crafts in the world and to hand down in future. We were very glad to see the guests who agreed to our activity.

Over 30 pieces of Kimono dress including day wear and special occasional clothes were introduced. The guests enjoyed this fourth show, watching with rapture and nodding deeply to my explanation about the fabrics and designs. It had happened our customers stood on stage. It was warm-hearted fun and became soft the atmosphere. “Continuance brings much strength.”

“From Japan to other countries”, we will introduce this activity. “From where I can start ?” My new creation does cross my mind !!!

I have many questions how is the remade design from KIMONO.

As KIMONO fabric has limited width and length, and remade dress from KIMONO has more limitation. It looks like a jigsaw puzzle. I like this designing because of active brain. When I see a KIMONO, my design can cross my mind suddenly. If the width and/or length is lack, I can sew together for the width and/or put other fabric easily. The more important thing is hand-feeling and motif. And then, making pattern, fitting on other fabric, and sewing after marking.

Pure black KIMONO fabric for funeral is remade to an “ensemble” (jacket and dress). It is very worthy. But this customer requested to remake to a simple long dress. This process introduces by some photos here. This dress became reversible, one side was sold black and other side had SHIBORI motif on pale green ground with bolero. She can wear it on several occasions.

For example, it will be introduced as a base dress of last coordination in my fashion show in 12^th Nov. Women yearn for a pure black dress !!!

I had visited a party in Kobe with my remade KIMONO square dresses. There were many beautiful women in gorgeous rooms. Some of the guests did wear my dresses like a fashion model. We enjoyed the delicious food, Chinese and Sushi. All atmosphere was international. But the most delicious thing was the owner madam and guests !!!
